The new Panamerican champion returned to her country to be at the most important music awards in Colombia and received a warm welcome as she presented the award for the best pop band of the year, which was taken home by Pasabordo.

"It was a very special and incredible night to be at such an important event presenting.  The vibe is incredible", said the queen of BMX after handing out the prize, which she does not usually do being as she is always receiving them. 

With this event and others like the donation of a computer room to less fortunate stutents to improve education, Mariana began her winter break after a long season of World and Panamerican Championships, from which she came out both world and Panamerican champion and finished second in the yearly BMX ranking.

Natives of Antioquia were the big winners of the night with Juanes winning artist of the decade, and J Balvin winning artist or band of the year.
