A goup of Austrian film-makers went all the way into Red Bull athlete Mariana Pajon's house and discovered how the 2012 Olympic gold medal favorite lives her day to day life.

This year Mariana Pajon fans will be able to follow the Colombian medal candidate more closely when the documentary, filmed during eight days in her hometown of Medellin, comes out to the public.

The production, which turned into an actual "Reality" show, will have the BMX world champion as the main character, after she willingly opened her doors to the world to show her personal life, he competitions, and her family and friends.

The main idea landed directly from Austria and from there came a team from Red Bull Media House and practically moved in with Mariana with cameramen, sound engineers, and other crew members who definetly enjoyed the opportunity to see the athlete's lifestyle, who just with her beauty and charisma makes an impact.

The first part of the documentary took place in the coastal city of Barranquilla, where Pajon was invited to participate in an exciting competition to help the "Dulce Hogar" foundation, to initiate young athletes into BMX and stay away from drugs.  Mariana not only dazzled all spectators with her spectacular jumps, but also took home all the glory as she handled the competition.

All the emotional and exciting moments were caught in high definition, as well as when she shared with the young athletes at the Botanical garden track.

At the end of the process, the Austrian crew put the foot on the gas in order to enter the world champion's family life.  During that time they were like her shadow with family, friends and during hard training sessions to stay in shape.

Many friends and admirers were part of this project which will represent a before and after in the story of this Red Bull athlete, and many of her fans who wait anxiously for the countdown to her documentary "MOMENTUM WITH MARIANA PAJON".

Mariana pajón began 2012 just like she ended 2011, with wins and points that get her closer to the Olympic Games and the number one world BMX ranking.  The native of Antioquia won the Gator nationals North American Championships that took place in western-central Florida and took over number two in the world.

"Tata", as she is nicknamed, decided to enter the competition due to the importance as far as points for the world ranking, and thanks to the victory, Mariana aquired 90 more points and took the second place in the world, only behind American Brooke Crain, who finished in the podium at every competition she entered.

In the semifinals, Pajón left behind riders such as Dutchwoman Merle Van Benthem, American Arielle Martin and Australian Caroline Buchanan, from who she also took the second spot on the world ranking.  In the final, the Colombian overcame the before mentioned Crain, who continued with her streak of podiums, and Alise Post, also from the United States.

It is a great start for Mariana as she begins the final strech of preparation and competition for the most important date of her career; the London Olympics, where she will try to become just the second Colombian to win a gold medal in history, and the second to win any medal in BMX, after Andrés Jiménez won bronze in 2010.
